Title Position: Sr QA Engineer
Job Profile : Sr. QA Engineer with 3 - 5 years experience in software testing & GUI automation.
Role Description: Working with QA team to perform manual and automated testing against QA and Production setups, write Test scenarios and Test cases. Build and deploy code releases. Script writing in QTP, LoadRunner, SOAP-UI to support automation efforts.
Mandatory Skills :
• Knowledge of manual testing concepts, Software life cycle and software control system.
• Design and Development of Test Scenarios and Test cases.
• Knowledge and experience using version control tools. (Subversion a plus)
• Hands-on experience (2-3+ years) of testing web applications.
• Hands on experience (2-3+ years) of relational database. (Sybase and MySQL a plus)
• Hands on experience (2-3 years) on QTP as a UI automation tool.
• Exposure and/or experience (if any) on LoadRunner, SoapUI is preferable.
Ability to work independently on given project.
Ability to work in flexible working hours if needed.
Desired Skills :
Training or hands-on experience using unix or Linux systems.
Financial domain experience
Good Verbal & written communication skills.
Good analytical skills and team Player
Programming experience is a plus.
